FAQ

Questions about Me:

Q: How tall are you?
A: I'm currently at 5'5.

Q: Any other stats about yourself?
A: I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 size shoe. It really depends on what type of shoes I buy. Once in a while, I can wear a size 9, but usually it's around 9 1/2 to a size 10. I usually wear a size medium in clothes. But I like to wear loose clothing, like sweaters and stuff, so I will once in a while try to buy a size up, either in large, or x-large.

Q: How often do you exercise?
A: I try to exercise at least 4 to 5 days a week. It really depends on my schedule. But I definitely try to work out at least 4 days a week.

Q: What ethnicity are you?
A: I'm Taiwanese-American. My parents are both from Taiwan, while I was born in the USA. My mother is from Taipei, and my father is from Taichung.

Q: What languages do you speak?
A: I speak Mandarin, English, and I can understand Taiwanese. I'm also a beginner in French. I took French in high school, and I'm not as good as my friend. Who by the way read Harry Potter in French!

Q: Any pets?
A: I've had fish in the past, but there is one little love of my life. Her name is Pikachu, and she's a cockatiel. She's one of the cutest birds ever. I always wanted a dog, but my parents felt that if we got a dog Pikachu might just go crazy. She's always freaked out about other animals. Even if we brought in another bird, she would run around her cage, screaming for at least the first 20 minutes. Pikachu passed away in March of 2014. :(

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: I'm not sure what the future has in store for me. I would like to say, I want to write a book, because I read a lot. And I want to start up my own business. I've just re-opened up my Etsy shop! I've also opened up a Storenvy shop as well!

Q: What is your astrological sign:
A: Gemini.

Q: What is one piece of advice you love to live by?
A: That would be live life to the fullest. If people put you down, keep getting up! No matter what!

Q: What are some of your favorite quotes?
A. I actually have a couple that I really love: "Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer." "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." "The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper." "In the midst of winter, I found there was within me an invincible summer."

Blogging Questions:

Q: Where do you work at?
A: Right now I'm a freelance agent. But I like to think of myself as more of a blogger.

Q: When did you start blogging?
A: Oh man, to answer this question, we would have to go back a long time ago! Before when I used to do everything I knew by HTML. Yeah, I think I was in middle school, or early in high school, when I started to mess around with website building. And after that it just escalated into blogging. I used to own a blog called Tokyo-girl.org, but I stopped using that website a long time ago.

Q: Do you get sponsored for everything on your blog?
A: No, I don't. If I do get sponsored for anything on my blog, there will be small writing at the end of my post with a disclaimer.

Q: How do you get sponsored? How do I get sponsored?
A: I think it's all the luck you might have. I get emails every once in a while, from people who want to sponsor me. I don't always reply, because sometimes it's something I don't want to do, but it's totally okay. For the second part of the question, I don't know? Start a blog, or a youtube channel and start reviewing things. Hopefully someone will come along, and think you're good enough to get sponsored.

Q: Do you make your own graphics/banners?
A: Yes, I do, please do not steal them, or I will need to hunt you down and hurt you. Just kidding, but for real stealing is very very bad!

Q: What font is used on your banner?
A: I always seem to have to change my banner out, but I usually use fonts from this site! I do frequent dafont.com a lot for inspirational fonts. (I believe credit is due when it's used)

Fashion Questions:

Q: What is your favorite piece of clothing?
A: Well that would have to be my skinny black jeggings. I'm not sure where else they sell them at, but I got them at a small store in my local mall.

Q: If You could live in any era, It’d be…
A: I would have loved to live in the early 1900's. I love lace and those high collared dresses that the American women wore back in the day.

Q: You can’t get enough…
A: Of clothes. I love to incorporate a lot of unique items into my wardrobe.

Q: Three things in my closet I couldn't live without…
A: A plain black T-Shirt, my distressed Abercrombie & Fitch jeans, and a pair of my cute brown suede booties.

Beauty Questions:

Q: What is the one item you would not be able to do without makeup wise?
A: Hmm... That's a tough one, if I had to pick one item I could not live without, that would be eyeliner. I feel like it accentuates my eyes, and makes them look bigger!

Q: What about skincare wise?
A: Definitely a good moisturizer.

Camera Questions:

Q: What kind of camera do you use to take pictures?
A: Well, I do own a Panasonic GF-2. I do use my iPhone 4s quite a lot. For instance, all those pictures on Instagram, yeah, those are taken on my iPhone. From June 1st, 2014 and after I use a Canon T3i, and I also use my iPhone 5s to take pictures for my instagram, and some of the pictures on this blog. I also have a small vlogging camera, for taking quick shots of things, and it's the Samsung MV800. Both of my camera have a flip out screen for easier picture taking.

Q: Do you take your own pictures?
A: I try to. Once in a while, I will have my brother take a couple shots of me outside for OOTD (which stands for outfit of the day) but other than that, I definitely try to take my own pictures.

Q: How do you edit your pictures?
A: I primarily use my Macbook Pro to edit my pictures. I use photoshop to edit all my pictures. I don't often add a lot of different actions to my pictures. It's mostly about brightness and contrast when it comes to my pictures. Before with my old Panasonic GF-2, it was just take and shoot, but nowadays I like to edit my pictures that I take with my T3i.

Q: Do you use a remote to take pictures of yourself?
A: Yes I do, on my Canon T3i. The remote I use it the AmazonBasics remote. Please note that if you have a DSLR to always check the questions section on the amazon product page before ordering, because some DSLR do not work with a remote. And make sure when you are ordering, you are ordering for the right kind of camera. The remote I have has two different options, Canon and Nikon.
